Has anybody ever heard of this additive and has anybody ever run it.I have talk to a racer that has mixed it with Sunoco Maximal 116 and it picked up on the track.I did some research on it and it says to add 1 gallon to every 4 of your racing fuel.It says you should see an increase in HP by 12%.I was wondering if I could use it with some Q16 or is that asking to much?

Nitromethane is a very powerful fuel, and it can be used to increase power output in racing applications. Nitro does not mix well with gasoline so therefore it is better for alcohol applications. Nitro creates tremendous amounts of heat when it is ignited, and without spending obscene amounts of money, it is hard to use nitro in gas applications.

There was nothing in the advertisement about octane. The mixture rate for Propylene Oxide was only 8%, claiming 8% more power while the Super Blue 007 was a 20% mixture for a 10-12% increase in power. I would have guessed it was just Toluene but the jet size increase didn't make sense. Toluene has a higher BTU rating than gas and it's a denser fuel.
