ACU. Race Licence. To go racing you will need to complete a Compulsory Training Course (CTC) and Basic Riding Assessment (BRA) to obtain your ACU licence. Our ACU Licence Assessments are £179 and in the summer months. They span across a late afternoon to evening. This is the licence needed to race with road racing clubs and attend ACU test days.

an acu license is restricted by capacity (600cc) if you are a novice, so yes get a racing license and you are allowed to run round any trackday full powered. I just recently got my acu license. you need a full unrestricted license to get a novice/intermediate license, which allows me to ride any bike upto 1000cc.
