Maybe this is could be the reason why the Vic off road champs numbers are down.:confused: What I can't understand is why, or how, the AARCMCC can allow this to be scheduled. Two major RC car racing events, both in nitro classes, in the same state, on the same weekend.

It's vital for 1/8th offroad nitro to curb the costs of racing. Especially when it comes to tires. Going to a race meet with over a $1000 worth of different pattern and compound tires is crazy. At my first meet, despite the brief 1 minute tutorial before the race, I was totally lost throughout the day – I enjoyed the racing, but found the day a bit stressful. At times I felt a bit uncomfortable and even a little embarrassed. I did come back, it started to make a little more sense, and I became a member.

Just imagine what the track would look like after a race meet if it wasn't watered during the day.....:eek: So in order to correct the current track conditions I'm going to have working bee's every weekend on a Saturday or Sunday. Sunday seems to be the day the track is most busiest so maintenance on the day will take off some of the pressure.

Guys, just a heads up on the Adelaide Rc Enduro which is scheduled to run on the 21st of October.The Enduro has been postponed till after the State Titles. I have spoken to the Sponsor with my concerns and we both agree that postponement is the best option at this time.
