There's no difference on the springs between the extreme drop and regular. The extreme drop kit has a shorter shock body. I didn't order the extreme drop kit, but BC Racing apparently just implemented a new policy whereby all coilovers ordered with springs rates 12/front, 10/rear or higher come with the extreme drop kit by default.
