    The first run on the ZX-14 Black Thunder was at 1355 hrs and a temperature of around 66 degrees and we produced a top speed of 176.833mph, and with Dean running his first licensing pass with in the prescribed limits. The second run on the ZX-14 Black Thunder was at 1607 hours on the short course run to a similar speed as the first run at 176.836.

    Our second run saw Alan run the Kawasaki ZX-14 Black Thunder over the 180mph mark with a speed of 181.678. It was quite interesting as all of the team and other spectators commented about the back tire howling as it ran out towards the first mile, snaking as it went.
