    For the record, 25-9 and 44-16 are pretty much the same, the difference is size and weight. 25/9 is a 2.78 ratio, 44/16 is a 2.75 ratio. I would be willing to bet 95% of the riders on this forum would not be able to tell a difference if the gearing was put on their bike in random order without them seeing which is which, and pedaling on a trainer.
