I did look into the AP Racing kit, but it really isn't all that much cheaper then the others, and the rotors aren't even full floating like they are in the Alcon and Brembo. The front 8 piston Brembo kit is $2,900 and the AP Racing 6 piston in $2799 so it seems like your getting better value for money with the Brembo.

Brembo / AP Racing both are great. I have the Brembo 16"/15" set up on my M5 and love them. When racing in the 90's the Porsche 3.8 RSR we used AP Racing calipers w/ Alcon rotors and were outrageous. Never a complaint but alot also has to do w/ pad choice and fluid. The 24 hrs of Daytona and 12 hrs of Sebring never gave us a braking challenge.
