When upgraded with twin 1-1/8 inch SU carburetors in the Sprite, the 948 cc engine developed 43 hp and easily propelled the 1,460 pound car to grin-educing back road speeds. Flat out, the Sprite would do over 80 mph, but cresting 60 mph could take over 20 seconds alone.

She’s AN5L 15724, built in the first part of 1959 and extensively restored in about 2010 with all rust removed and new sheet metal welded in place. Then the car was painted in beautiful British racing green. She has a low mileage upgraded 1275 engine and upgraded front disk brakes, along with a flip forward nose that makes engine access a dream.
