One thing to consider ..only a small percentage of your suit surface will be embroided and if you feal that it has jepordized its integrity you can always wear fire proof underware for one more proctive layer allowing the air to seperate your suit from your skin

The suit will have to be disassembled for them to sew only the outer layer (not easy). I had all of my embroidery made into patches and those were then sewn onto the suit (minimal penetration of the fireproof layers). Nomex thread is the best way to go, but is hard to find in any large assortment of colors.

I wouldn't worry about the warranty on the suit, as long as the fitment is good when you get it as well as keep the zippers in good order. Having the embroidery done will not damage the suits fire protection. I always had at least a two layer suit and had to add different sponsor logos along the way.
