Super Bs are generally used on 55 to 84 CI engines. Super Ds are generally used on 88 to 96 CI engines. Either carb could be jetted to run on bigger engines but I'd stick with the guidelines. I don't know the CFM ratings. You may want to check out some Harley boards for more info. I'm not a fan of S&S carbs but I know alot of Harley guys are.
