We essentially created cardboard 2 X 6’s. We cut 18 strips of cardboard about 40 inches long and 6 inches wide. We glued 6 together and clamped them until they were dry. We repeated this two more times until we had 3 “boards”. The boards were notched about 2 inches from each end about 3 inches deep. The sides of the hull slid into the notches.

Do the bottom of the boat first. We suggest two or three layers of cardboard glued together. Weigh it down while it sets. Cut side pieces of the corrugated cardboard to ensure durability.
