All in all, I’ve found carpet racing to be very enjoyable. I feel like the cars, tires, and setups have progressed so much in recent years. Before, when I tried it, I was driving basically a dirt car with a very low ride height and astroturf tires. Now, the cars are purpose-built for carpet with proper suspension geometry and weight distribution.
