If we assume the 565 cid makes 800 hp, the fuel requirement will be: 800/12=66.7 gph. Thats at a BSFC of .50 To be safe increase the fuel pump output 50%: 66.7 x 1.5=100 grh. The pump will be more than what the engine needs. I'd suggest you put the regulator on the return line so the fuel will recirculate and stay cooler. Ron
