When you hear it is a direct swap they seem to be talking about aluminum powerglide to turbo 350. The two problems you will run into with the cast-iron unit is the drive shaft length and the transmission mount/crossmember. The cast-iron glide took a longer drive shaft length. Had to have ours cut down and of course balanced. That is $125 current price.
