    I never knew that their was an actual north american catamaran racing association. The was a north american mulitihull association. I have raced in their championships decades ago. I think the nacra guys made the alpha cat before the 5.2, which was a scaled down 36. I saw Roy Seamans 36 at a PMA worlds in hurricane gulch back in the mid 80s.
