Out Of My Mind

Putting my email address in plain form with a mailto: link was out of the question, as it is quickly harvested. I could create an address distinct of my main address but I would have to read it anyway. The efficiency of adding “spam” or other keywords to the mail address to render it invalid to bots can be hard/cumbersome to track and what ...

Ray's Ray Tracer

    https://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~zwood/teaching/csc471/finalsF12/rching/
Ray Tracing By: Raymond Ching For my final project I decided to create a ray tracer. Ray tracing is a technique used in computer graphics that models realistic reflections and shadows by bouncing light rays off of objects in the scene and tracing their path through the world. The basic algorithm for ray tracing is as follows: for (every pixel)

Ray Tracer (now with procedural textures)! - Cal Poly

    http://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~zwood/teaching/csc570/final13/mzych/
Basic Ray Tracing. The basic ray tracing model is as follows. A camera is placed in the world and rays are cast from the camera's position to points on an imaginary image plane. A ray is used to determine what light would be going towards the camera at that point and direction.

c# - Simple ray tracing tutorial? - Stack Overflow

Show activity on this post. Years ago at uni I wrote a ray tracer in C++, but now I can hardly remember any of it. Just for fun, I decided to try writing a ray tracer again, this time in C#. But sadly I'm struggling getting started with the …

Ray Tracer by Ray Go

The ideas behind ray tracing are simple, but this approach to rendering images is computationally taxing. Because of this, ray tracing is not commonly used for real-time applications. For my solution, I can render images with spheres in a scene. I use the Phong lighting model to color and shade my scene. My solution also renders reflections.

Tutorial of Ray Casting, Ray Tracing, Path Tracing and Ray Marching

    https://blog.ruofeidu.com/tutorial-of-ray-casting-ray-tracing-and-ray-marching/
Ray tracing is a more sophisticated algorithm in global rendering involving diffraction and reflection, thus generating images looking even more realistic; alas, it emulates the physics but is computationally more expensive. Computation: Each ray is traced separately, so that every point (usually a pixel) on the display is traced by one ray.
