I grew up around the Colorado drag strips. My Dad raced Fuel Altereds. Cdr was my favorite Colorado track for sure. Used to tear around the road course on my mini bike dreaming I was the drivers my Mom took me to see, at the big road races there. I remember the Frog. It's hard to believe that there were 7 different dragstrips within aprox 100 miles of Denver at one time and now only 2 Bandimere and Pueblo. Also in 1969 you could come up with almost 20 Top Fuel Cars from the area and in the early 70's almost 16 Funny Cars........... Times sure have changed.
