Nothing can extend beyond the front of the valve cover. Cars shall be based on an actual rocker cover from an automobile engine. Cars must have four wheels, each no more than six inches in diameter. Wheel must have a non-metallic surface contacting the track. Critical Dimensions: 30 inch maximum overall car length.

The nose of the valve cover racer has a maximum allowable height of 3” from a level surface and no part of the valve cover is allowed to extend in front of the nose (see fig. 2). This is required to allow the starting gate to function properly. Other than the above regulations, vehicle design is up to you. Be creative and have fun.
