· Placing a temp probe before and after the intercooler shows it to not even cool the charge as well as an OEM STI tmic. People have also been tuned on both, and made more power on the STI tmic. In other words, if you are on a budget, look for a used GOOD TMIC, or go with an STi tmic. Now, FMICs on the other hand, its a little more of a greay area.

· This allows for the incoming air to be distrubuted more evenly throughout the intercooler. Ebay intercoolers (CX racing, BMPC, mishimoto,etc.) endtanks are more rectangluar and forces most of the air through the bottom half of the intercooler; Thus increasing the chances of heatsoak. And $650 is alot for CX racing.

· Selling my well modified CXracing intercooler. I had 0 complaints with this kit as I ran it. Modifications-Piping was changed to mate with the turbo clocked blowing straight up. This clears the A/C lines and doesn't risk heatsoak. Intercooler orientation is also upside down vs how it was designed, which uses less piping and looks better.
