Of course, this needs to be done with the car jacked up so there is no weight on the particular coilover you're adjusting. I think you will still find that the springs on the D2 coilovers are a bit on the stiff side, but for that reason they do perform really well at the track. The handling improvement is huge. After the initial installation, we had set the fronts and rear to full stiffness and I must say that these coilovers are really really stiff on those settings. On the highways, the ride is fairly flat and soft with the occasional bump when you hit large holes or debris on the road. But besides that, the ride is firm and not bouncy at all.

Mostly just want to ride the lowlife and have comfort while doing so. Only upgrades so far is ddm 12k heads 3k fogs and now these coilovers. Not rich, just working harder, double shifts like crazy to get my toys. OEM status, next mod is pulley, cai fujita 1 piece w/bypass.. comes with everything you need to bolt on and go.

Taking the suspension off the car was a pretty easy job. All the bolts came off easy thanks to a complete overhaul of the car 8 years ago. Control arms didnt need to be loosened and the struts came out without sweat. Something told us the kit would need a shower: After the kit took it's shower it started to look like it should.

YES they are made in Taiwan, but that’s ALL they make, at least D2 as they are 100% focused. They are not some eBay Chinese company that makes fart pipes, DVD players, and coilovers. D2 makes ONLY Coilovers and they seem to be very serious. They MANUFATURE and cut their OWN springs, that is something right there as no eBay Crap will do that.
