    The Davis Bike Club Race Team is part of the Davis Bike Club (DBC). DBC is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1979. The club has about 500 general members who participate in practically every type of cycling, including social riding, touring, ultra-distance, and racing.

    The DBC Race Team is a Northern California-based cycling club headquartered in Davis, a Platinum cycling community and home of the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame. The Team is dedicated to supporting a wide variety of bicycle racing disciplines including juniors, women, elite, general, and masters categories.

Current Race Team Events – Davis Bike Club

    The event features all day racing in downtown Davis for most categories, including a kid’s fun race. This race includes a generous prize list and is known for its technical eight-corner course. Past winners include Greg Lemond, Mike Sayers, Dave McCook, and Nathan Dahlberg. The event is on hiatus for 2021 due to the pandemic.

    If you are relatively new to racing or want to become proficient at pack-riding skills, the Thursday Skills Ride is a great place to start. These rides are a good way to get up to speed before attempting the regular Race Rides. This ride starts at 5:30 Thursdays at the Starbucks in northwest Davis on Lyndell Terrace. Rain cancels!

    Team Uniforms & Clothing – Davis Bike Club Race Team Team Uniforms & Clothing DBC Race Team members are required to wear a current uniform while racing. For races scheduled before uniform delivery, it is acceptable to wear the previous season’s uniform. Orders are placed every 30 to 45 days (see Team uniform order link below).
