It has 4 special game modes as well as racing, and it is up to 4 player. The campaign mode is pretty fun. Anyone who grew up with Nintendo knows many of the characters (Banjo Kazooie is my favorite game ever. He sucks in this game but he's there! which is great fun). For anyone slightly struggling with the game I'll give one hint:

level 1 · 4 yr. ago Great game, MK has better courses but as a one player game I prefer DKR. Bosses, different vehicles and the open world added a lot of depth. Plus having Conker and Banjo as playable characters was a nice bonus. Only flaws were that it got really hard fast and the items were pretty weak.
