Drag racing is stupid. I am a car enthusiast, I get people who own fast and loud cars and race cars, but I cannot understand drag racing. There’s no real talent in it besides shifting, and even that doesn’t take much talent. Racing down a mountain on a narrow mountain road or on a track with curves requires much more talent and skill and is way more exciting to watch.

CMV: Drag racing is stupid. I'm from Europe and drag racing isn't very big here, but whenever I see American car shows like Road Kill it makes me wonder why people like drag racing. I don't see the appeal in cars with a lot of power and wide tires racing for 10 seconds on a straight road. When watching Japanese car shows like Best Motoring everything is exciting, complicated and refined.
