· At ~30 degrees ATDC (or 7.9mm below TDC on a D16) the cylinder pressure drops to ~54% what it was at it's peak. 54% of 125% is 68% [of maximum pressure]. In a D16 the 1st ring won't even be past the bottom of the CSS insert til 35 degrees ATDC (presuming a 12mm CSS height). BTW TorqSoft - Piston Position - Calculation Tool is cool!
