I heard that Borla makes the FRPP Stingers for Ford and pretty much the only difference is the what is printed on the exhaust tips (Ford Racing logo vs the Borla Logo). The Borla Stingers cost almost another $150 more than the FRPP version ($549 vs $395). Is the quality a little better and/or you get a better set of clamps/brackets with the Borla version.

I know Ford Racing are made by Borla. Are these the same mufflers in regards to the sound? I can see the tips are slightly different with a polished inner lip on the Ford Racing and I would assume they say Ford Racing instead of Borla. Thanks, Tom

I was curious about these two mufflers and seeing how Borla does manufacture the FRPP 5GTs, I called up Ford Racing and inquired about the warranty coverage for the less expensive 5GT. Ford Racing said that if anything should happen (rust :rlaugh: :rlaugh: ) it would have to taken up with Borla...
