The track at Foxboro, opened in 1947, and existed for fifty years. Foxboro is located roughly half way between Boston and Providence, Rhode Island. Starting out as a half mile harness track named Bay State Raceway, the track was also known as New England Harness Raceway, Foxboro Raceway and ended as Foxboro Park.
