Joined Mar 8, 2005. ·. 818 Posts. #8 · Apr 14, 2008. Only show this user. I just finished doing a frame notch on my GN. I'll put some pictures up later. I did go right to the inside of the frame then welded 3/16 plate to it. I'm also putting some 1 1/4" tubing on the inside for some extra strength.
