Our Gang 4 Wheelers is an ice racing club whose volunteers have been holding ice races in Colorado for 46 years! You'll find us out on Georgetown Lake in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Our season spans 6 weekends through January and February. Ice racing is fun, safe and a great way to enjoy your 4x4 during the winter months.

The ice depth and quality is checked in four different areas before anyone is allowed to enter the lake. The ice in Georgetown averages 12 to 22 inches throughout January and February. There must be 12 inches to hold a race, 18 inches before trucks and trailers are allowed onto the ice and 20+ inches before large RVs are allowed on the ice.

The Tri-State (Championship) events were still held at Twin Lakes until 1982 when all events moved to Georgetown where they remain now. Our Gang started out by hosting 3 events and has gradually increased the season over the years to 6 weekends (78 regular season races, 4 Championship events, a Kid’s Race and 2 Fun Days).
