    The Avus-Rennen was revived in 1951 through 1953 for Formula Two cars. The non championship Berlin Grand Prix F1 was held in 1954 and won by Kling (Mercedes-Benz). In 1959 the German Grand Prix was held for the last time at AVUS. Due to concerns over tire wear, the race was run in two 30 laps heats.
