    In the time between his road racing and mountain bike racing Greg worked in my retail sporting goods store in Newport Beach, Calif. He still worked for me a while after he resumed racing. When he quit racing he moved to Santa Barbara and worked as a BMW salesman. I guess that didn't suit his style and he soon moved to Mammoth Lakes to snowboard.
