In GT5 there were tests done by some people and it was said roughly: 25-50% intermediates 50-100% heavy rain tyres does this still count in GT6 v1.04? During the first versions one could easily use racing soft in wet conditions like the 24min championships but that does not really work anymore in v1.04.

The downside of putting harder tires on the rear of a RWD vehicle is you tend to eat up the rear tires faster, due to the difference in grip between the front and back causing more wheel spin and oversteer.
