George Miller, the announcer at Saratoga Harness Raceway for 24 years from 1958 through 1981, died Friday, Feb. 25, at the age of 89. Mr. Miller joined the publicity department at Saratoga in 1947, later becoming the announcer at Vernon Downs in 1995, when he called Adios Harry's world-record 1:55 mile.
