So you are putting the bind plug in ch3 socket of the receiver, power on the ESC so the receiver gets power? Then keep the bind button on the transmitter pressed down (you should feel a click when pressing it down), and with this button still pressed down, power on the transmitter. The flashing led on the receiver should go to solid red.
