The trap speed is how fast you're going at the end of the quarter. Your ET is how long it took you to get there. Speed = distance / time. Increase speed. Keep distance constant. Time drops. In words, you have to go faster to travel a set distance in a shorter time. So your ET should be inversely proportional to your trap speed.
