I just discovered the free wekk-end. I downloaded the game, tried to play but I can't accelerate. I tried to re-configure gamepads but couldn't figure out how to change configured buttons. The application seems very crappy. Too bad, I can't try the game so I definitely won't buy it... Maybe they'll make another free week-end later so I can give it another try...

When loading up the game go to configure rather than launching the game. Then go to Controls and have the controller be the player one option. The game automatically selected the controller for me. Just made sure it was on when the game started. Not sure if the controller troubles were patched out, I doubt it.

I faced the same problem. But, it's fixed now. Apparently, Game itself hate it, when u select control from Configure menu. Do this, Click Play > Configure > Controls. Now click Player 1 Controller, and remove, same way click Player 2 Controller and remove. Click Ok. Now start the game. after all these years, this was very helpful. Thank you.
