Sometimes it is just a matter of giving them good probiotics to get their gut bacteria back in balance. They already have little gut bacteria which takes time to build up, and stress depletes it. ACV in the water will also help. I would do the same with the older birds who are not eating, and treat them for coccidiosis.

There are a whole range of coccidia treatments available. Many are pharmaceutical dinosaurs and should be discarded. The one I commonly use and recommend is toltrazuril 1. One tip I learned is don't give the Corid with the Baytril- give the amprolium (corid) at night, and Baytril in the morning. Amprolium easily makes birds regurgitate if added to other meds, and the instructions say do not mix with other medicine. Hopefully this treatment goes well.
