HPV was rebranded as KPV when Lynn Haddock took over the promotership circa 2005 or so, IIRC. There are functionally similar to the K71, but the K71 isn't legal in HPV/KPV competition. The are a spec engine that runs in WKA, largely. They are roughly same hp as a KT-100 but better initial build quality according to many.
