It does work, but not well. When you turn, it does not matter how you turn the wheel (slow, fast, etc.) the car will only turn slowly. Also, the pedals only work like buttons instead of pedals, so when you want to give it a little gas, it will floor the gas for the car. The construction of the wheel is fine, it is plastic but it is solid.
