lol, LFS is a kids toy compared to iRacing. #7 Fokkas Mar 16, 2015 @ 2:31pm Meh, all of these "pro extreme sim racing" fanboys will always say the same exact thing. It doesn't matter if it's Project Cars, rFactor, iRacing, Assetto - they're all the same.

I wouldn't say that lfs has more physics features or just features. Tbh I have no idea how someone could even say that... I mean, here's just short list of things that are missing from lfs and are in iracing: ground effects and ground clearence and rake having an effect on df, setup options based on real values and limited by real values and car type, tracks that are trillions and trillions ...

LFS Forum - After racing assetto corsa and iracing

The only reason iRacing's ffb feels better is because the tracks are all laser scanned and the bumps and dips are much more noticeable. This isn't to say LFS' force feedback is bad, take the updated Blackwood for instance, at the end of the straights where it's bumpy, the ffb is actually working quite well. LFS Forum - Did iRacing Kill LFS? - Page 4

    https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/54056-Did-iRacing-Kill-LFS%3F/page/4
iRacing re-ignited my passion for sim racing and hence didn't kill LFS. But it will keep me from coming back to LFS. I hate the pricing of iRacing. I think an "in between model" between LFS an iRacing could score big. iRacing is to expensive for people that occasionally drive in a league, but in LFS people who paid in 2004 still get free updates.

What modern simracer is most similar to LFS? : simracing

Every isiMotor2 (rF1, R3E, AMS etc) based sim has more accurate suspension physics than LFS. In addition to this, rFactor 2 and iRacing both model suspension compliance and chassis flex. rFactor 2 handles stiff suspensions the best. Forget about AC since it has problems with stiff suspensions and wrongly modeled anti-dive / squat.

Forza, GT4 or 5, iracing, rFactor, LFS, help me decide ...

In addition to whichever console you choose, I'd recommend getting LFS, too. It's cheap, doesn't require a fancy computer to run good, and while the graphics are rubbish by Forza/GT4 standards, the physics are brilliant. It also allows you to design auto-X courses, simulating your "real life" track layout.

Like your FFB strong? Think again.. | RaceDepartment

    https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/like-your-ffb-strong-think-again.30763/
In iRacing and LFS its the force feedback strength in the menu, with rFactor & Realfeel there is the realfeelplugin.ini 'Max Force' entry to adjust. When you scale the forces down too much, you get weak force feedback.
