Im not looking for a crazy expensive set up, I understand this kit might not be the best quality as far as the turbo potentially. If the tubes, turbo header , intercooler fit right and the welds are good thats all i'm looking for. Also worth mentioning my car is a 04 325ci with a getrag 250g 5speed.My ecu firmware is ms45.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is Not saying anything good or bad about CXRacing, I'm just putting this out there for something to weigh in before making a purchase. Also everyone say's "your just paying for the name brand", which isn't always 100% correct. There's a reason HKS 272's work better then BC 272's. Just think about it.

If you are able to do a little pipe modification and mounting the cooler on brackets you can get a kit for $210. I'd never pay $600 for cxracing. If you are going to spend that kind of money look into a Treadstone or used Procharger 3 core intercooler. With the cxracing intercooler pressure drop is usually 2-3psi.

A small pin hole leak in the fins somewhere. Apparently CXracing has terrible customer service, and wouldn't do anything to help him. Other than that they seem to be widely recognized as a good, cheap intercooler, with only a pound or two more pressure drop than the AGP Race intercooler, thanks to the cast end tanks.

I saw the CXracing kit installed in an issue of 5.0 and the kit looks clean, manifolds look great, and they got a good review. But I am looking for real world reviews. The 11.50s are a goal, not set on the 400/400 just hoping for at least that on around 9#. Car does have a dedicated drag suspension, and slicks/skinnys and the driver mod lol.
