I'm just saying that as someone who will usually go for the better-looking games, I surprised myself by the fact that Raceroom has now become my go-to racing sim over assetto simply because the force feedback, handling, sense of speed and the fact that it is so easy to jump into an online game makes it so much more enjoyable than PC and Assetto.

Raceroom could be really good but unfortunately online racing is practically non existant and the ai is pretty bad as they are way too aggressive and treat you as if you are not present most of the time. So if you like hotlapping its pretty good! I have put a lot of hours in to it but the ai always seem to find a way of ruining it for me! #5

raceroom is just severely underrated and a lot of people dont know about it. it has some strengths that are better than all or most of the competition. the AI is probably the best in simracing. FFB is very good, and includes things that other sims dont even send through FFB. it has a rank and reputation system, similar to iracing as well.

Raceroom's underlying physics are far simpler than iRacing's under the covers, but I find the cars in Raceroom to be far more enjoyable to drive. The FFB is exquisite. The available content is diverse and uniformly quite good. The sounds are legendary - pretty widely regarded as the best sim in this regard.

dynamic weather, night racing, rain, driver swaps, and therefore a longer race limit than 4 hours. im mainly iracing because of their endurance services, id play plenty more raceroom if it would have these things but its hard to have a team endurance race if there are no driver swaps
