This will provide better cooling than the previous 2". It is also bigger by having more air rows than other units seen. That is another 3/4" or additional face surface area. This unit is 2.25" thus provides an additional 1/4" inch of cooling. It is also 3/4" larger to cover the entire blower opening.

At outside temps of about 60 degrees the IAT below the cooler only reached 118f on a 11 to 12.2 psi peak. Temperature quickly drops within a few seconds. Cruising and partial throttle temps are near ambient temps. as you gain speed the water remains stable even as the supercharger generates more heat.
