Jimmy Griggs is a former NASCAR driver from Donelson, TN. He competed in one Nextel Cup Series event in his career prior to dying on December 17, 1998. That race came in 1963, when Griggs raced at Nashville Speedway USA. Starting 14th in the twenty-one car field, Griggs completed 304 of the 350 laps in route to a respectable 12th place showing.

It was my brother's first lettering job on a racecar. I think it was the year 1965. Signs and Designs by Don Sanders was my late brothers name.
