Discussion Starter · #6 · Jan 24, 2014. Only show this user. Kip was taken off life support this afternoon, and as Darin said, passed away peacefully with his 3 daughters by his side. Drag racing has lost a legend, the Ford fans have lost one of their best, and above all 3 daughters, 2 stepsons and all the grandchildren have lost a wonderful man.

Roger at Standard Machine is good with porting--go somewhere else for block work. Kip Martin Racing engines is meticulous, and I'd use him for smallblock stuff. His SS/L car is well under the index for the class, has been for years despite factoring. Gary Knight Racing is good with most stuff, his real interest in in turbo stuff.
