Kodiak also said they suggest replacing the wheels every 10,000 miles (or having them rebuilt :-? ) due to the inherent physical properties of aluminum. This may not be an issue if used solely on the track but for those of us who drive our cars to the events we run, this would mean having to buy new rims almost every year.

These wheels are supposed to be racing wheels. I checked out their web site and it looks like they are geared towards the racing crowd. They are pretty pricey. Racing in a straight line only. They do flex quite a bit in the turns. Enough to crack the spokes just after the inner hub reinforcments on mine.
