Taking the KTH Racing R7 for a test drive to make sure everything's working properly. Overall the car performed well and we gathered some valuable data. The test was ended by a rear push rod failure. However this is why we test; to find weak links in order to perfect the car before going to competition. Filmed with a GoPro and a 550D with lenses;

Tim has been racing for 22 years. He became involved in drag racing at the age of 12, but his family didn’t have the money to support him in his own car. So he worked and saved, and by the age of 16, Tim managed to buy his own dragster. He ran (and won) local NHRA events for several years, and even landed a sponsorship from Jones Communications (now Comcast Cable).

The 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Season was announced on September 8, 2011. The schedule was revised on October 12, 2011, with the events at Maple Grove Raceway and Gateway International Raceway swapping dates. There were 23 Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock car events, and 16 Pro Stock Motorcycle events scheduled.
