Mad Dog Racing: FEATURE - Cycle News

Taylor Myers throws it down during the heat races. Mad Dog racing requires your given motorcycle to have started life as a 156cc or less, the number chosen because the Honda CRF150F comes out as 156cc stock, making it the upper class limit. The engine must be a two-valve, air-cooled, four-stroke, and you can then go and build the engine up to a ...

I’m looking specifically at the 11” Valeo-Max Stage 1 clutch (claimed 402hp/396ft-lb, probably horse numbers) with a ClutchAmerica nodular flywheel or 11” Valeo King Cobra clutch (425hp/550ft-lb, probably also horse hockey) and FX Racing chromoly flywheel. We’ll just say my car makes 300whp (even though it’s more like 275 crank) so ...

The Clutch Opinions Thread - Drivetrain - SN95Source.com

The clutch is average at best. It would engage high sometimes, engage low other times, sometimes the clutch would slip, sometimes it won't. It's very inconsistent with it's durability, that being said, I could powershift the heck out of it and it would hold up perfectly under all of the power and still does.

Pros, Cons, advice and reasoning on a racing clutch? - reddit

Racing clutches are for modified cars because they hold more torque than the stock clutch. Ideally, you want the least performance clutch that will hold your car's power for a easier feeling clutch pedal and more streetable ride.. For example, the stock clutch in my TDI started slipping after I did some upgrades to it, so I had to get an aftermarket clutch to hold the power.

13,565. Location. alaska. Nov 8, 2012. #3. the centerforce clutch didn't shake it just grabbed hard initially (from the ceramic I believe) and then behaved normally, good clutches. My only concern going behind a diesel would be that the flyweights may not help much because of the low rpm torque.

Opinions: Best Shoe clutch on the market? - Bob's 4 Cycle Karting

Unless your rules will allow the malossi clutch, many do not in sprint at least, the best is the SMC Rocket Rim. It's based on the stinger design. It requires little maintenance after break in. Basically a better machined and updated stinger. alvin l nunley Site Supporter Sep 13, 2019 #6 OVALTECH1 said: Bingo.

Nov 21, 2015. #2. I've only had to replace one clutch in my life. It was on the VW in my signature. The dual-mass flywheel gave out actually and I wasn't about to reuse the stock clutch. I found out in my research a couple of companies make clutch disc and pressure plates for other clutch companies. The South Bend clutch kit I bought had a made ...

Hays Clutch: 180.00. This had zero issues on motor and went the longest before any issues. Many years of motor 6k clutch dumps on slicks with no issues. When I started spraying the car it actually held for a bit then started to slip in high gear on an 80 shot and started to chatter real bad. Ram HDX: 160.00.
