    Being pedantic about weight, my back strips would be rather thin, just like they are on my 1891 0-42. Btw, I am still irritated by the wide back braces. I guess the reason is that wide back braces have more glueing surface. Otherwise I would prefer thin and high back braces, like I have seen them on some very old (Gibson?) guitars.
