The design is veryyy similar to stock other than the runners for cylinders 2 and 3 seem much straighter allowing them to flow better than the factory manifold. Overall I like the fit and finish of the header. It has a nice thick flange that will not warp and the welds look good on the pipes. The bends are less extreme when compared to the original - see pictures below. It came with a new gasket which I used.

After 6 months, I am still very satisfied with the sound and the power gain. You will definitely feel the power after 3k rpm. (so strong and smooth).

From what I see Megans headers are exactly that. Get cheap heads for half the price and use the difference to make them fit. Reviews have most people saying they don't fit out of the box either. And the advertised 304 steel is a load of crap. Who knows what steel it is.

The thin-walled steel Megan uses for their headers will make your Z substantially louder. The flanges are notoriously variable, which means difficulty sealing (unless you use the thick gaskets). Powdercoat won't survive header heat (which is probably why someone's selling them cheap). Kind of a silly way to coat headers.

Megan racing says their headers are made from T-304 SS and is only $288 on their website. Then I see stillens which is almost $700 at Z1 for the ones made of T-304 SS. So from that aspect Megan racing seem to be a lot better deal. However I do not know how well they perform and fit.
