After some light research [smiley=book2.gif] I found that the later leon cupras came with 'seat sport brakes' made by AP Racing. They are a 4-pot, 1-piece caliper that use the same 312 disc as the TT. After more reading I found out that the pad surface area is actually bigger than the brembo cupra r setup so I thought I would give them a try.

I know the disc size is the same 312mm as the audi tt brake set up but the calipers are wider. no i wouldnt think so as the 312mm have just mm of clearance.

Share. Posted February 5, 2006. I've recently been to see AP Racing in Coventry to help them develop a big brake conversion for the GTI. My biggest concern with upgrading the brakes was whether or not they would fit under my 18" Monza 2's for everyday driving. The bottom line is that they do!
